Food and Water testing laboratory in Maldives - ISO NABL Accredited

AMDC Life Sciences was one of our dream projects at AMDC. We have been working with the tourism industry for the past 22 years.

On behalf of AMDC, I welcome you all to this event celebrating the milestone achievement  of  ISO accreditation for AMDC Life Sciences Laboratory

About AMDC

AMDC has been providing healthcare services for the past 3 decades, that’s since 1991

One of the longest serving private medical facilities in the Maldives

AMDC has always played a vital role in contributing towards improving the health care services in Maldives

AMDC Clinic is one most popular clinics in Maldives with about 40 doctors providing services,

Departments like Dental, Physiotherapy, Respiratory Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, ENT, Orthopaedics, and more

Also we have all the basic diagnostic facilities, working with most of the private insurance companies and Aasandha

Other than the clinic, diagnostic and pharmacy services,

We do import and supply medical consumables, equipment and pharmaceuticals in Maldives for both private and government sectors

Tourism Sector

AMDC has been working with tourism industry, fish processing companies, providing services like the hygienic screening, health check ups,  since 2002.

We have always been asked if we could do testing for food and water by our customers from the hospitality industry and fish processing companies

Idea of AMDC Life Sciences

We understood that there is a need for food, water and environment testing facility in the private sector to give customised services to the

• - tourism industry
• - Fish processing industry
• - And some food processing industry

We always wanted to do things which was required by our customers

We wanted to do this in the best possible way

We wanted to have laboratory which would be of international standards

After lots of work and planning we established AMDC Life Sciences in Feb 2023.

It took us more than a year of planning and execution as we created the first ISO Level 8 Laboratory with Clean Room In Maldives

Then we worked towards getting it certified for ISO so that we can provide services of world class quality.

Most of the resorts had to send the samples to neighbouring countries to get their samples tested

We are providing one stop solution for all

We would do almost all the tests here in Maldives.

Any tests which are not viable / possible, we have already tied up with accredited laboratories abroad to send the samples from our side.

With AMDC Life Sciences

The customer has many advantages

1. Transportation , would save time and cost

2. Samples would be safe as the transportation time is minimal compared to sending abroad

3. Testing quality and standards, same as any international accredited laboratory

4. We would provide with sample collection containers which would make sure that we receive the samples safely

5. Even we can send our technicians to collect samples to the customer site

6. Above all, we save forex, you need to pay a local company in MVR,

So in short, we can provide fast , reliable, customised service
