Will the LTTE factor effect the poll results in Tamilnadu

The action taken to end the story of LTTE by the Sri Lankan Government is a much talked subject these days. The polls in India and the political parties using this subject rather than other essential needs like power, education is showing that the Political parties are trying to cash votes coming up with their support and protest to the action taken by the Sri Lankan Government and forcing the Indian Government to stop the internal War.

image LTTE was an organization started for a noble cause for the Tamil people, but finally ended up as a banned organization. Recently there was an interview of Shri Karunanidhi telecasted on the NDTV where he had told that LTTE suprimo is his friend and he is not a terrorist, but was clarified later. Most of the political parties have demanded the Indian Government to force the Sri Lankan Government to stop the action against LTTE and rescue the innocent Tamil civilians being killed. Yes the request is appreciated, but what is the real intension behind this, VOTES. The Tamil cause might be Vaiko’s ticket to parliament, do you agree? There were different protests held in Tamilnadu against the ongoing war in Sri Lanka.Do they really care for the Tamils suffering in Sri Lanka? If you had genuinely they should have done something much before? This is just to bag the Votes. India has expressed its protest and anger to the Sri Lankan Government against the killing of innocent Tamil civilians in Sri Lanka.

My question is, will the action in Sri Lanka effect the results of this poll? Today I was watching the big fight and the topic discussed was the LTTE issue. Some facts which were discussed were :-

  1. Is LTTE going the right way?
  2. Is the Sri Lankan Government doing things right?
  3. Should the supporters of LTTE be booked as LTTE is a banned terrorist organization and we see big political parties supporting them (Indian Politicians)?
  4. Suppose the Sri Lankan Government is able finish off the LTTE, will that be the end? Will there not be any organization born with the same cause?
  5. What will be the future of the Tamils in Sri Lanka? Will they have to live the same life or will the reasons which sprouted anger and hatred be still there?
  6. After Prabhakaran, What Next?

Conclusion

I agree that LTTE is a banned organization, which has done lots of inhuman acts which are not acceptable including the assassination of our Prime Minister Late Rajeev Gandhi. We have seen that the LTTE is not just doing justice, it is a known fact that they are using the Tamil civilians as human shield and even killing them. LTTE was started  with a noble cause to fight for the rights for the Tamils in Sri Lanka, but has now reached a different destination or the road they are in now is very different from the real motive of this organization. The Indian Government should pressurize the Sri Lankan Government to bring changes in their constitution to take care of the Tamils in Sri Lanka and avoid the chances or any other organization like LTTE in the future. Mr Ram of Hindu told that if LTTE Chief, Prabhakaran is killed, it may have some effects on the Poll results, the ruling party may have a set back, but he feels that people will also take other factors like Jobs, Power, etc into consideration

Very Simple Question:

Who is authorised to ban LTTE, label them as terrorist?

The whole world have no right to do so, if Sri Lanka is banning them as a terrosit org, its their business as there is direct bearing to the cause, BUT LTTE never attacked any other country except Sri Lanka their very own country, so why the hoo haa by other countries?

The war between LTTE & SLA is an internal affair and every Tamil is considered a LTTE member, so other countries have no business to interfere. Let all the Tamils in SL die in war protecting their civil rights rather than be saved for political mileage.

SL can wage a battle and killed all LTTE Tamils in the SL, but the war is not going to end. The LTTE tamil will be born every other day and haunt the SL govt and will never leave them in peace. If my prediction is correct President Raja Paksa will be killed soon by LTTE…..

ICE-True its an internal problem, I do agree, but LTTE is blamed to have killed Rajeev Gandhi, then Prime Minister of India. I feel an amicable solution needs to be found in this case by the Government of Sri Lanka and put an end to the killings of innocent people.

Mr.Kishore,
YES sure the LTTE factor WILL EFFECT the poll results in Tamilnadu”
This is the trump card for the political leaders in T Nadu,as you know Hunger strike drama ,etc, etc ALL POLITICAL DRAMAS
But Here are some fact i wiuld like to share

“Is time that we should stop listening to the Comical Alis of Sri Lanka and to start
listening to the ordinary Tamils to find out what is really going on in Sri Lanka. We
live in lands that give respect for the voice of the people and not to the voices coming
from few arrogant leaders who are being responsible for the death of thousands in far
away lands.
Civilised world has turned a blind eye towards the suffering Tamils in Sri Lanka. They
have lost their lands and homes. Tamil people have lost all their livelihoods. Many have
lost their loved ones. They are being killed and wounded in thousands by a murderous
regime. They are raped, imprisoned and tortured. Thousands of Tamils are left to live as
orphans, widows and mentally retarded in barbed wired concentration camps. Their
voices are silenced. Who will hear the voice of the oppressed? Who will go for their
rescue?
It is time that the Nations should get together and protect the Tamils from annihilation. It
will be too late, if we keep on waiting until millions of skulls and bones appear on
our wide screens. Rwanda and Kosovo are being repeated in front of our very own
eyes therefore we should act now.
Tamils in Sri Lanka should be freed from State oppression and given the rights to live
without the fear of torture, rape, murder and intimidation.
Let Tamils decide their own destiny!NOT THE TNADU POLITICIANS
