Airtel is not legally allowed in Maldives, but its being used by 100’s of people here. Reason, the local cable TV is very costly and the channels available is limited. We can bring it from India, the customs do not have any problem yet. You can also buy it from Male’, they will charge you about Mrf 2000, but its worth. I had to pay Mrf 3000 as deposit and other charges to get a local connection. Installation is very simple. To recharge, we can do it online, clarity is excellent.
