I recently have been to Akkulam Tourist Village which is situated in Trivandrum and is promoted by DTPC Thiruvananthapuram. I see no proper maintenance done, the restaurant was closed and used as a place to dump garbage. The place was smelling bad and looks tells the way its being taken care.
Here comes the culprit, the water is not clean and spoils everything here. I feel the authorities should do the needful to keep the place clean and promote the destination as a place for picnic and kids.
