The Indian version of UK’s famous reality show, “Big Brother”. Big B, itabh Bachchan is signed to anchor Bigg Boss a TV reality show and he will be paid the highest ever paid amount i.e 1.5 crores per episode and there are a total of 84 episodes (126 Crores). Shilpa Shetty was the previous anchor.
Mr Bachchan was paid 75 lakhs per episode for “Kaun Banega Krodepathi”, Salman Khan, 1 crore for “Dus Ka Dum” and Sharukh 1 Crore for “Panchvi Pass”. Its interesting that these celebrities are paid so high for these reality shows.
This show will be aired on Color TV channel exclusively. According to Review Stream “To those who don’t know about its format, Bigg Boss is a reality TV show where 14 contestants are locked into a house to stay put for 3 months. Video cameras are installed on every wall and corner of the house and the courtyard, excepting obviously the bathroom and toilet. Every week, two contestants are nominated by the inmates and one of them is voted out by the viewers”.
