Aitel DTH in Maldives

Airtel DTH is one of the DTH service providers in India and now its getting very popular here in Maldives. I don’t know if its legal to use it here, but there is no problem bringing it here. I see lots of Airtel Dishes in Male’, the capital of Maldives. The reception is excellent and the biggest advantage is the cost. If you pay the Subscription in Indian Rupees, it will not cost you even 25% of what you need to spend to a service provider in Maldives.

In Maldives we need to pay a subscription fees of MRF 450-500 to get most of the popular channels which is equivalent to Indian Rupees, 1800 per month, but if you have an Airtel connection, you can almost get  a new dish every month with this price with the subscription free offer. You will need to have the facility / space to install the Dish Antenna in the right direction.

Tholl – The best would be if you can get it through somebody traveling from India, so that you can get it in your name and a local address in India

That’s a good news Dr IGMH, the local Medianet is really very costly and they do not show any signs of reducing the charges. I am sure they have lost many existing connections
